The following numbers are from the same vehicle that was built at Hamtramck Assembly plant. This will give you a better understanding of the relationship between some of the components of the car relating to matching numbers..
The casting date on the engine is 11/19/69. The assembly date of the engine is 11/26/69. The schedule build date of the vehicle was Nov 12, 1969
Take note of the following:
- The position of the letters and numbers is consistent between both the engine and transmission.
- You can see witness marks from the machine cutter on the engine pad.
