Fastener reference manuals
Purpose:
The MMC Detroit Restoration Reference Guide to Fastener manuals were developed to assist Mopar vehicle restorers, event judges, collectors and enthusiasts to understand what the correct bolts, screws, clips and washers are that were used by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) during the assembly of the vehicle.
Objective:
This fastener guide will provide useful information in the understanding of the correct fastener to use for a various components that are assembled within your vehicle. This guide contain photographs, manufacturers marking (head markings), detailed descriptions of over 98% of the bolts, screws , clips and washers relating the applicable vehicle. This fastener reference manual is a complement to the ICCA Restoration Judging and Guidelines Reference Manual for the applicable vehicle and the Understanding the Finer Points of a Vehicle Build manual.
Work in Progress Note:
Due to the variations that continue to be discovered the reference guide will always be considered a "work in progress". These manuals will be updated as additional information is discovered. Our intention is to continue to update each version until the contributors, OE judges and users of the manual agree that the information is as accurate as possible.
Volume # 4 Understanding the Finer points of a vehicle build
Purpose:
The Understanding the Finer Points of a Vehicle Build manual (VB4) is over 250 pages and was developed to assist Mopar vehicle restorers, event judges, collectors and enthusiasts to understand the finer points of a vehicle build from a production plant perspective.
Objective:
This manual will provide useful information in assembly plants as follows:
- IBM cards
- Production codes
- Production trim tags
- Miscellaneous labels
- Monroney label
- VIN tags
- Door VIN label
- VIN/ SO stamps on vehicle
- VIN stamps on engines
- VIN stamps on transmissions
- Part date codes
- Broadcast sheets
- 10,000 day build calendar
- Other production documentation information
These guides contain photographs and detail descriptions of the items noted. This manual is a complement to the ICCA Restoration Judging and Guidelines Reference Manual and the MMC Detroit Restoration Reference Guide to Fastener for the applicable vehicle.

ICCA Reference restoration and Judging Manuals
Purpose:
The ICCA Restoration Judging and Guidelines Reference Manual was developed to assist Mopar vehicle restorers, event judges, collectors and enthusiasts to understand what is proper part and correct finish and production markings during the restoration of a vehicle relating to exact Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) process.
Objective:
This manual will provide useful information in the restoration of all areas of your vehicle to reproduce the restoration as close as possible to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). This guide contains photographs, detailed descriptions for almost every area of the applicable vehicle. This includes but is not limited to specific details of the following:
- Interior
- Exterior
- Drive line
- Frame/ chassis
- Suspension
- Trunk compartment
- Engine compartment etc...
We do our best to articulate the following about parts in the manual where possible:
- The correct part to use
- The proper finish
- Inspection marks
- Part date code
- Par number
- Part identification marks etc...
This reference manual is a complement to the MMC Detroit Restoration Reference Guide to Fastener for the applicable vehicle and the Understanding the Finer Points of a Vehicle Build.
